Crocodile engineers have extensive experience in LAN & WAN network installation and support. In recent years the advent of wireless technology has provided the freedom to log onto office networks without the need for a new network point being installed but how secure is it?

During a recent site visit by our engineers, they found 12 different computers logged onto a customer's wireless network even though there were only 4 computers within the company. This is a major security issue where sensitive information is concerned as well as a free way to access the internet through someone else’s broadband link.

Our engineers reset the wireless network with added WEP security to correct their last IT support company's mistake, things are now much faster!
